Hi! I wanted to take a moment to talk about my current project, the upcoming book “Pose: A Dancer’s Guide to Making the Most of their Photos.”
For this publication, I’m joined by my collaborators, Costume Designer and Historian Dawn Devine, Author and Instructor Sara Shrapnell, and international professional belly dancer, Poppy Maya. If you haven’t gotten a copy of “Becoming a Belly Dancer: From Student to Stage,” you can pick up a signed copy here: https://etsy.me/2WmK0to
Over the years, we’ve been really fortunate to work with a lot of amazing Bay Area belly dancers and have amassed a vast collection of photos. In “Pose” we’re sharing the tips and techniques we’ve used to create the photos that appear in our publications, on websites, and across the web. We are in the content editing stage of the book writing process. And though we have a few more photoshoots scheduled to take some very specific images, we can see the end of the in site and anticipate release on digital this fall! It will be the next title added to my Amazon Author Page: https://amzn.to/2JGymbm
