Busy weekend and upcoming events

This last weekend I went to Desert Dance Festival in San Jose and in addition to meeting up with friends and watching dancers wow us on stage, I was also asked to model some amazing creations by Shiny Sparkly Things beautiful Vintage Tribal Kuchi Necklace with Swarovski crystals. Rakkasah West 2012 *This Weekend*

The largest Bellydance Festival in the world is being held this weekend

Rakkasah Festival will be held at:
Richmond Memorial Auditorium
403 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804

Friday 7pm - 11pm, Saturday 12noon - 11pm, Sunday 12noon - 8pm

Separate from Bellydance Festival, but with some similarity, there is an Assuit /Assiut exhibition at the Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles in Berkeley.

Before heading to Rakkasah on Saturday I will be going to this exhibit between noon and 12:45-ish with Davina and friends. If you are in the Berkeley area and would like to join a small gathering of dancers as we view the exhibit please join us.
